Vaccum Forming Help

Ite so, starting off my next cosplay project, I need help making this:

A cosplayer that I reached out to kindly provided me with these pictures, and stated that half of the materials used were Sintra PVC and styrene, and that the rest of it was 3D.

Normally, I would just 3D print the whole thing, as difficult as that would be. But I do need to learn how to vac form. It seems to be a very promising material for future cosplay projects.

But yeah, we have a small vacc forming machine at the workshop, don’t we? Does it require an induction, and is anyone savvy with vacc forming and would be willing to help me?

Hi Joshua,

The toolpage is here, no induction required! It’s pretty small capacity however, but feel free to give it a try! It’s stored under the mini CNC.

Thanks Kyle!

Yeah, it’s very small indeed, but it should be enough to make at least some of the piece from the pictures. I’ll look into learning how to use it. I’ll read the manual, watch youtube tutorials and ask around.
