I’m not sure if the 2nf coat has been put down in Dusty yet, but I intend to go down tonight and put a coat on.
Should be there at 7:30pm
Tuesday 3rd May - Lost in Space
I’ll be popping by on my way home and will report back on what condition the floor is in
Clear, clean and ready to receive a coat.
This looks incredible. Awesome work guys!
Are we going to osmo the walls? Seems like it might look good?
It’s expensive stuff and the remainder should be about the right amount for the front
Ah yeah, the much cheaper super slippy osmo for sure.
Start moving in tonight
Looking good
If there’s work going on tonight then an @forepeople person could do with posting a call to arms.
Note: there’s currently virtually zero sound separation between phase 2 and the neighboring gardens behind, and hasn’t been since we took the blanking boards out of the window.
Under the terms of our lease we shouldn’t use noisy tools in there between 8pm and 8am IIRC. So making a double or quad glazed window(s) for that is a good project for someone to get stuck into.
We looked at this briefly: it is probably useful if the messy side window is openable. This allows roof access, and potentially, extra ventilation, if needed.
The remainder of the cheaper stuff was accidentally put down on the floor yesterday.
Do we need to put a coat of the none slip over that?
?
Did you use the stuff for the walls , yes probably
The stuff for the walls went in the floor.
We will have to re coat it tonight
Ok I thought so.
I could do that today.
It (currently) went down 12 hours ago so by lunch time today that will be 16 hours. Should be enough.
I can check it.
Cool
An extra coat can’t hurt
Unless it makes the surface cost less grippy so you fall over or the durability is poor.
@boldaslove the wall stuff is a bit different from the floor in my understanding.
If it’s dry, obviously go for it.
If it’s still tacky… stop and have a think.
Okay.
Obvs is was a school boy error.
Shame.
But probably good to have the none slip factor on there!!!
