Travel tech bag

Hi all,

I thought I’d write up my current ambitious project that I’m embarking on and maybe keep this as a bit of a progression post.

Problem Statement:

I’m getting annoyed at having to constantly have to take a million different chargers and cables whenever I travel. Cables get tangled together and having to basically empty out all of my bag just to find one cable or piece of tech.

Ideas:

So while I was thinking about how to do this (as there are many already available very cheap). I’ve decided to expand this from just a cable case to actually holding all my relevant tech. I want to 3d print (or potentially/prototype using a vacuum former) to get a nice tight fit. I don’t really want it to be much bigger than a fat book and be like a briefcase style with a zip across the middle. I’m also thinking the exterior of the bag I will use a stretchy ‘sock’ like material so that I can push fit the products in place and when removed it will look like it’s supposed to be just a flat appearance (hope that makes sense :joy:)

Products to fit in:

13’’ iPad
Apple Magic Mouse/small compact mouse
Go Pro
Go batteries *2
Go pro battery charger hub
Small 20/30w usb c plug
PlayStation 5 controller
AirPod pro 2
Apple Pencil
AA battery *2
AAA battery *3
Cable reels *4/5
Powerbank
Toothbrush travel case
House keys
Passport
Credit/debit cards *3

Would love to hear people’s thoughts and other ideas. I do realise this is a pretty ambitious idea but I think it’ll be fun trying
