SLMS T-shirts and Teatowels

Hi, unfortunately I could find only one! I took that but I’m now currently on my way to Italy, so I’ll have to come up with some different ideas for Xmas :frowning:

Evri ,
Quite possibly the countries worst delivery service
They were Hermes (not a spelling mistake)
They got voted as the most unreliable delivery service somehow beating yodel, then rebranded as Evri and continued to be the same, I have had numerous deliveries lost, delivered to the wrong person , repackaged items with bits missing , and damaged parcels from them.

Useless imho

Also their logo is apalling. I see what they were going for with a different typeface for each letter. I don’t think they should have gone for that at all, but even still it could have been done with more elegance.

Ah Stefano, I’m so sorry! There should be five of them in the messy room so I’ll take a look when I’m in next to see if I can locate them, but I’m sorry that’s cut a Christmas present short :frowning_face: safe travels and hope you don’t have too much trouble finding an alternative

Cheers Tom, appreciate it’s taking a while but it should be well worth the wait (I hope)!

Yep - count me on board with this opinion now. I hadn’t used either Evri or Hermes before and didn’t realise how troublesome they could actually be. Both parcels were sent with the same driver and to the same address, one arrived two or three days after, the second is somehow lost :rofl:

Hey all,

I came in yesterday for the first time since about November to get the tea towels printed - mission success!

I took them home so I could sew my label into the hem of each of them, but I’ll bring the prepaid ones in and label them for the below members next time I’m in -

@tomnewsom
@stefanoromano × 3
@sdsefwseghtqfg
@George_Sheppard

Last bit to get done is order the remaining t-shirts and print these, along with the “bring your own t-shirt” orders, sorry for the delay here. If anyone is still considering getting involved, please place an order by tomorrow when I will hope to buy the tees.

I also got a few posters printed on the lovely thick printmaking paper in case you are still interested @unknowndomain - let me know!

Cheers,
Peter

How much?

I’d be very grateful for £12, the same as the tea towels!

I’ll ask Andy and Kyle to pop an option on the merch link for it. They’re on the drying rack in messy room at the moment so take your pick when you’re in next :slight_smile:

Do you know the size?

It looks like it’s worth more than £12 imo.

Done, added a £10 donation.

I will try and organise a bag or poster tube and come grab it.

I’d normally definitely list for more than £12 but considering the materials are a mix of a kindly donated illustration and printmaking paper which was gifted to us, I think it’s a nice accessible price while also being a good amount for us to take :slight_smile:

Thanks very much for sorting that out @Kyle, and thanks so much for the donation @unknowndomain! There’s a big ol’ tube by the left side of the screen printing bed which you can take/cut down to size. It’s been there for over a year unused!

Cheers,
Pete

I should probably know, but can’t remember if it’s 56cm×38cm or 70cm×50cm it’s a nice size either way and the paper has a lovely subtle texture which light at the right time of day will accentuate!

Nice, sounds similar to the screen prints I did for Makerspace a long time ago, but much nicer design and actually printed in house!

Cheers @petermakesprints - I should be able to pop by on the weekend to collect.

Lovely posters :slight_smile: We’ll frame one for the space I hope!

I’ll let you know when I’ve dropped them by at the space Tom, will try to get there by the weekend but can’t promise it I’m afraid!
