Yea, I hear you, but I think we want a mixing tap? Otherwise it will be hard to even wash hands without burning yourself on the hot side?
Not so sure we need hot for screen printing , but we do need two cold feeds, one with easy hose attachment for the jetwash and one low pressure one,.
Hot is not required.
I agree with Mark - if your screen printing is like my “hobby” set up at home, hot water definitely not required as it will set the heat activated ink into the screen you are trying to clean. Always a cold water clean required for my kit.
Hi Chaps,
Has this been resolved now. I was going to do it but I got knocked off my bike and my shoulder was badly broken. It’s on the mend now so I could help at some time in Jan.
Phil
Nope please fix it! thanks!
@PhilH. Any luck with this?
Thanks,
Andy
Hi Andy,
Yes, it’s been dragging on a while. Sorry about that. Loads on the old plate recently.
Just been in and had a quick refresh. I should be able to do it early next week.
I’m going to replace the tap and the wooden strip it’s supported on.
I’m also going to put a lever tap and Hoselock fitting onto the pipe on the wall so it could potentially be used with a hose/pressure washer.

Philip
Awesome, much appreciated!!
Finally managed to get and replace the tap today. Turned out it was maintenance day anyway so worked out well.
New tap fitted with shower hose. Also, fitted Hoselock fitting to the loose pipe for use with the pressure washer and secured pipe to the wall.
Any problems, let me know.
Philip
Amazing, thanks so much @PhilH!!
No worries.
Just thinking that I might have got the hot and cold the wrong way around.
I’ll check when I’m next passing. It would be easy enough just to swap the coloured tops.
Philip
Went back and swapped the coloured tops around so it’s all ok now.!
Great! thanks!!
Hi Andy,
I noticed that this tap in the wood area is leaking due it having been abused.
Do you want me to replace it?
Philip
Yes please! Thanks!!
