New Member Intro: Dave Lukes

Hello, I’m Dave (he/him).
I’m a long-time DIYer, fixer, maker and I’ve been a volunteer repairer with The Restart Project, Hackney Fixers, Repair Café Nunhead and various other repair organisations for over 15 years.

In my previous life I was an IT Infrastructure Engineer.

I am also interested in food growing and cycling.

I’ll add more when I’m less tired :yawning_face:.

Welcome to the SLMS group, great to have you join us on discourse as well as the Festival! Thank you again for volunteering your time to help us at the festival in general as well as offering to run repair sessions :slight_smile:

If you are free we are having an open evening next Wednesday be great to meet

I’m definitely coming to the open evening so I’ll see you there & we can maybe chat then about repairing at the Festival?

Ill be at the space from 12 - 9pm next Wednesday so pop in anytime, tours of the space starts at 7ish

I have repaired with @DaveLukes at a couple of Restarter events, he should be a real asset to the Space - welcome aboard Dave!
