Hello people who are in the space tonight – @frasco @Beth @emuboy @lewisss – can you make sure to tidy as you go, as we’ve got the Christmas Party this weekend and need the space clear. And apologies for the nag, I was planning to be there myself right now but family has taken things otherways…

(That list culled from the space log, spread the word to anyone else there!)

Just read the flyer again. What a fantastic sounding event!

We now need to work out how to deliver…

Food and drink is pretty much covered by a few of us. @Ana_Nieto @SarahJ @pip @Dermot @StudioNelle. I’ll bring cutlery, bowls n plates, and extra cups .Main catering is Brixton People’s Kitchen.

Need people to take ownership of (break these out into your own wiki posts if needed):

  • setting up (from 1pm?) Including rain shelter? Also best use of space in clean room: this will house: activities? Snacks? Main food? Games? Dancing competition (much much later). And general socialising.

  • games

  • making activities (bobble hat decoration? Other?)

  • tours

  • woodwork inductions (alcohol-free inductees and inductors only!), @woodtechs how’s this looking? Dangerous tools need to be party-safe.

  • any other inductions? 3d printer???

  • general Makerspace inductions (@Dermot?)

  • bike parking (@conomara?) Rapid set cement could be our friend here? The excavated holes need to be made safe?

  • music (content)

  • how to maintain occupancy of 60 persons or under in arch. How to be aware of how crowded it’s getting.
