Kaleidoscope “prototype”

I have some grand plans for a big elaborate kaleidoscope (which I’ll probably not get round to!) but thought I would have a play around with a smaller cardboard version at the weekend. The cheap plastic Petri dishes worked great as ‘cartridges’ to slot in different things to look at - salad-o-scope was a highlight

Might have to get started on the 3D printer to make some clips to hold the Petri dish in place for the next one.

Hi Jack,

We are starting to look at our content inclusion for the Dulwich festival Maker fair we have a “Don’t be Shy! submit your Make” event happening on Friday. Would this be of any interest to you maybe and/or do you know anyone else I can reach out too?

Cheers
Dorine

Sorry - out of town this week!

We will have a second shoot next week dependent on demand  just depends if in principal you interested?

I might be in the space Thursday evening next week - but not available any sociable hours next week - if you are showcasing child friendly projects I can drop off the Kaleidoscope, it is quite fun to try different things and reasonably robust!
