I’ve just joined and had the tour last week last and excited to get going!
I’ve currently been making some jewellery as a side line project and mainly using pouring resin or laser cut acrylic for earrings.
As well as being able to use the laser (after induction) for furthering ideas I’m also looking for somewhere to be able to sand/drill the resin and acrylic as at the kitchen table currently is not the best for ventilation!
Is there somewhere in the space I can do this? I have my own dremel but no outside or well ventilated place to currently do this.
I also enjoy sewing and bargello embroidery so excited to have a go with the overlocker and embroidery machine as these are new to me. Also the rug tufting looks epic- after seeing the tube sign someone did.
May I ask also how many people can use the textiles area at once? Apologies if it is obvious I tried to find it but there are many posts/topics!
Am happy to help with tours once I get the lay of the land or with clean up.
Looking forward to getting stuck in!

welcome Kate
I don’t think there is a limit to the textile area, but if people need more space than usual or need to use a machine we only have one of (like the embroidery machine) for an extended amount of time, they usually add it to the time in their booking
