Hey all,

I’m Hugo. I’m a software engineer with 10+ years experience. Currently doing more management than writing code these days but more than happy help people with code.

I’ve got a couple of 3d printers at home but really excited to learn how to use some tools I can’t fit in a London house.

I’ve got a couple of projects on the go:

  • fitting out a 4x4 to drive to Australia - I need to learn mig welding to fix some rusty bodywork, and a large space to build drawers/storage
  • many home automation projects - mostly using homeassistant and esp32 devices
  • (maybe) harvesting parts from an old ender 3 to build a small cnc router

Welcome to our community! Sounds like you’ll fit right in. You should be all set up. If you are available tomorrow there is an open evening for a tour, a chat, and you could pick up your key as well.
