I’ve joined the space to learn a whole lot more about making and to try to incorporate it more into my daily life. My skills are limited but I’ve been exposed to a strange set of tools over the years (probably just about enough to be dangerous but not enough to do something useful). I live just the other side of the park and work from home full time so I’m hoping to be able to visit the space often and learn from you all.
The first small projects I have in mind are a couple of wood projects - making a small chest of drawers to fit under my desk and a shoe rack to go by my door. I’d love to get involved with other projects too.
I’m hoping to pick up my fob tomorrow night (24th) and to meet some of you then.
