Hey, I’m an animator (stop-motion/2d) but I’ve spent the last couple years working as a welder (MIG and TIG), set building and as stage crew for theatre.
I’ve gone back to college after having graduated from uni to study an NVQ in Engineering. I do know how to use a lathe and milling machines and all the like but would love to bump up my skills.
I’ve not been able to use a lot of the skills I’ve gained for my personal projects so I’d like to tick off some of them. Ranging from the small-scale like board games and toys to larger projects like stop-motion sets and a cargo bike.
My main hope is to really learn and “play” with tools (CNC, laser cutter etc…) I’ve not had much opportunity to use frequently or at all.
Thanks,
Immanuel
