Electric powered bicycle trailer

Would we need some sort of weatherproof shelter to keep this in?

Perhaps a kind of shed?

I have plenty of thoughts on this matter.

We can use permavan… hahahha

This is looking dangerously feasible!

I’d still like to do it with a load cell in the tow bar so as to avoid the need for a throttle on the bike. It just feels like a neater solution to me, plus it would probably need an Arduino

Spoke to a rickshaw guy this afternoon. He said they’re all at it. 50W motor, 6 hours recharging overnight.

UK Electric Bike Law. In general: The Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles – EAPC – (Amendment) Regulations 2015 states that electric bikes that have powered assistance to a maximum of 25 km/h (15.5 mph) using a motor of no more than 250 Watts (maximum continuous rated power output) are considered bicycles.

The London rickshaws got in trouble because they were putting huge motors in them and going at silly speeds.
You can buy a 1kw wheel kit and some huge LiPo’s off AliExpress really cheap
