I’ve put a kink in my bike’s hydraulic hose near the handle and am looking to cut it down. This required a hose cutter and a barb inserter (often one tool). However, I keep buying tools I need for single jobs on my bike, so I’d like to avoid that. I’m also on the lookout for a threaded freewheel remover.
While we do have a list of equipment for the bike area, I’m not sure it’s been updated since it opened, and I’ve had a tough time finding specific items.
Otherwise, I’ll probably buy a cheap aliexpress one (both?) and donate it to the area. I’m wondering whether that’s a waste, and it would be better to buy a reliable one for the space, or if indeed: if I’ve missed that these tools are available!
Would it make sense to add where tools are stored to an updated tools list? As right now I see drawers and drawers of stuff and boxes that the last thing I want to do is start pulling out things I don’t know what they are or where to return them.
Advice and input would be appreciated, I’m really glad that the bike area has come on so well since it was initiated, and I hope this post doesn’t sound ungrateful.
