Do we have a V-block tool for woodworking

Hello @woodtechs ,

I have been working on a project with cylindrical pieces of wood and was wondering if there is a V-block tool or a jig that i can use to hold onto the wood better for drilling holes and cutting them.

Hiya - check under the pillar drill, I think the v-block jig I made for chair legs is still there.

Octagonal Section Wood Stick

This is fairly easy to do with a handplane. There’s a handy trick to lay out the regular octagon from square stock on the end grain using a compass. [Lay Out a Tapered Octagon] We have a jig to hold the piece at a 45 degree angle while you plane it. The jig might be too short for you but it is trivial to make a longer one. [IMG_8493]

There’s this. I think it is on the floor by the band saw rather than the pillar drill.
