Donating our bandsaw to Hackspace Manchester

@members we’ve just been donated a rather fine bandsaw by University of the Arts London…

We now have a bandsaw spare the one in metalwork

We bought this new, and it’s in pretty much mint condition, so would have some resale value.

However: in the spirit of helping other spaces like our own, and in recognition of our good fortune and generally ‘sharing the love’ the Directors are recommending we donate it to another Maker/Hack-Space.

This item belongs to all of us as members, so we want to make sure members are happy with this course of action before agreeing to give away this – relatively small – asset.

So…word of this possible donation has already gone out in the wild and we have solid interest from Hackspace Manchester #8211; who really need a working bandsaw right now.

Please reply below so we can gauge member sentiment on this.
