Wrong needle position on Janome TXL 607?!

The needle on the TXL607 is slightly out of position or the foot is out of position. Either way the needle is catching on the foot. The plastic foot that was on has been dug out by the needle. See below

I have tried:
Trying a different needle
Trying a different foot
Reading the manual for any sort of adjustment

Can a fab tech tell me where I am going wrong please.

any chance not all feet fit all sewing machines

I did wonder that. It’s like .5mm out on standard ones so maybe it needs specialist feet?

I think it hits the back of the plate as well, so definitely feels like its misaligned somehow
