It’s getting closer to opening the woodwork shop , so we need to talk about where stuff is going to be placed .
all ideas are welcome.
Unfortunately we don’t know the exact size of all the tools yet , but being that in mind my only half plan is to use the dead space behind one of the doors to run off the saw and planer/thiknser
Happy to pitch in here but no idea on total tools anymore or sizes. Best left to those sourcing?

A quick drawing would work as easily, we had to do this for construction, I don’t think you are giving this a proper chance, and given the level of scrutiny we get I think thats only fair.
Is there going to be some sort of central dust collection ? Does this change anything to how we plan the space ie were we can put ducting would partially dictate where tools go
Will do a drawing soon , but you or anyone wants to express their ideas with a drawlings this ia a good place to post them . I would be very interested in seeing your vision for the layout if you want?
We should be able to get the ducks anyway in the shop so I was not to botherd about it
Stefano and I have come up with a temporary layout, so we look ok for Saturday, the Good news is that I think that we are going to get 3 benches in and have enough space to work , hopefully it will be done by tomorrow so everyone can have a look and put forward there options. Then once we have had the mandatory bun fight the 3phase outlets can go in and we are a big step closer to getting up and running.

It was input from members that that pushed me to try 3 , we will try it tonight, the only unknown is the bandsaw.
It’s going to be up and coming workshop (in estate agent language ) but hopefully workable.
It also was seriously surgested that we started buy cutting up the workbenches…!
