Hey @woodtechs
Myself and my partner (@Geoffifer) have two projects that we would like to use a few of the machines for.
First one is a set of doors, solid wood frame with a perspex panel. We bought the panels pre-cut and have cut down the wood roughly to size but looking to use the planer thicknesser to true them up and get them to final dimensions, router table to add a groove for the panel, and the domino for loose tenons in the mitred corners.
Second project is ten drawers for a built in wardrobe in birch ply. Looking at the table saw for this to cut out all the parts, but also the router table for grooves/rebates. We don’t currently have the ply for this, but we have stuff spare that we would like to use to test the drawer construction and for the induction.
I have a track saw and an mft style bench at home that I’ve also fitted a little router lift in for my trim router. I have used a small table saw, but have no experience with a planer thicknesser.
I think we have done all the required induction quizzes but if we are missing anything then let me know. I appreciate that is a lot and not expecting it all done in one go. We are free this Monday (21st) during the day and any time on the 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th of May.
Also, we have a barely used Vaunt 8 inch 1000 grit diamond stone and an Erbauer random orbital sander ERO450, (same one as in the shop I believe) both going spare and happy to donate if they would be useful.
Thanks,
Calum
