Hey
Just a quick post about getting more people to help. I’ve started gently reminding people whom I leave into the space that we need more help to finish construction. I think reminding people in person and reassuring people who dont think they have the skills to help out is better the emails.
Maybe a sign, big sign in the space would help as well??

I agree, it’s quite evident that a small handful of people are doing all the work, more so than previously where we had 2 groups of people working on different nights.

I am free on Sunday to help, but it would be good to see more people around and helping, there is a hell of a lot to do, and we will fail.

Stop sitting there thinking someone else will do it, and start thinking this could be fun, I will do it.

p.s. The space is cosy, the company is warm and the work now is much less heavy lifting as we’ve onto lining which is relatively easy work.

maybe organising another regular session would help, for people who can’t do Sundays?

What about Monday nights? Or Monday daytimes? If it’s a regular thing people can plan around it, and if the work isn’t too heavy I’m happy to help.

that might help all right, we are trying to do Saturdays as well. But people still need to be told I think, so a big sign in the space spelling out the correlation between time==space, and also people being asked to their faces…I know this is very direct in a country famous for indirectness but I think it goes alot further then emails, which are also helpful
