Has anyone ever managed to use the Canon printer in the space to scan a document to their laptop?
I tried the email option, it scanned but I never received anything.
I tried plugging in a usb stick but it kept showing it as unrecognised USB device.
I tried going on the printer’s web UI via it’s IP address following Colour Laser Printer / Scanner - Canon imageRUNNER C1325iF , the UI doesn’t have a scan functionality I could find.
I tried searching for network scanners on my wifi-connected laptop but did not find anything.
I ended up using my phone camera so I don’t need it any more but I’m curious if any one ever got it to work.
I had to ask Lia for a USB stick, everything I tried was unrecognised, in fact one i tried gave the illusion it worked but i couldnt find any files on it. pretty odd really. Thankfully Lia came to the rescue.
I found the Canon works best after sacrificing a toddler to Osiris.
It can be a bit of a gamble with USB; sometimes you just have to try all the options you have.
Interesting, thanks. I used random usb sticks I found above the clean room computer, maybe they weren’t formatted right. I’ll try to bring my own next time.
