A great channel as I’m sure most of you have found.
He had a project with someone and showed them how to use the table saw.

No blade guard?
No eye protection?
Do I win anything?
A riving knife would be a good start
naked table saws seem to be endemic in america
(I’ve got a lot of time for Matthias though. His demountable furniture is full of ingenious design solutions, and you can tell he’s got a lifetime of experience of working in his particular way.)
I’m not that fussed about the open blade work that goes in in America/Canada in general - their saw, they can use it however unsafely they want. But letting a beginner use the tool set up this way is pretty dodgy in my eyes. It doesn’t matter if you are supervising, a mistake with a table saw happens way faster than you could possibly react to.
As I have said first rule of the table saw is don’t watch u tube videos.
Hell yes , a place on the first induction next week
Not kidding would be great if you could attend, will throw in a workshop induction as well if you want
Just watched the video , please people do not do this on our saw
Is there a tablesaw induction coming up?
On the way
