Just met an inventor who recommended a £250 Trinus 3d printer which has laser cutter head available and also a £400 cnc head.
Supposedly it can even print an aluminium flake filament which looks and feels like metal!

Looks ok as a printer but the laser is described as an ‘engraver’. Basically it burns a design onto soft materials.
