Transparency Printing

Hey all,

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to order prints on acetate? Looking to get one or two made for the screen printing inductions/personal use but am seeing £10+ postage most spots :pensive:

Will the printer in the clean room print on acetate.

We use an inkjet printer with ‘inkjet acetates’

It should do, something like this would probably do the job (if its big enough!)

I see, interesting… I’ll get some sheets ordered and see how I get on! I know it’s recommended to use deep opaque black ink so will see how I get on, nothing like a bit of experimentation.

Hmm yeah, worth an experiment to see how dark it comes out. I believe there is a ink jet in textiles as well if thats better?

That one doesnt heat the ink so unlikely to be compatible with acetate I imagine. Really only for sublimation.

Yea, should work fine on the laser printer - assuming you get the right laser compatible sheets. No idea if it is dark enough or whatever though, but worth a try!
