Tool control for welder / lathe

I just popped in to weld up. Small project, but
The readers In the metal area are both not responding, and the reader for the lathe in particular looks like wiring has been ripped out?

Anyone have info?

They should be working….

The wiring on the lathe has been dodgy for a while, what does the reader say?

Got the lathe reader working by flipping the power supply in the old woodshop, but welder is still off
Edit. As in the welders tool control has no power.

Hi, anyone has some perspective on this? The MIG welding tool control doesn’t get power… @Afro_ben did you try anything to fix the tool control on the MIG welding?

I noticed 2 flying wires disconnected near the lathe tool control, but the lathe works. I’m not sure if the loose wires are needed by the MIG tool control?
I was wondering about the possibility of fixing all the flying wires near the lathe to the wall using cable clips, but that would only be part of a solution.

All I did is turn ON power in the adjacent room.
It had no discernible affect to the MIG, but did get the lathe tool control on.

I was just able to get to the space last night. I have diagnosed a few issues and will be replacing the blown DC-DC converter tonight. Everything else should be fixable to get it going again.
