Hi folks – I have an Epson XP 322 printer that’s giving me grief. It has – I suspect – a sensor fault that makes it report a paper jam when in reality there’s nothing. It was a cheap printer when I bought it and I’ve had it for a few years, but I thought instead of just chucking it outright, I’d open it up to see if I couldn’t wiggle some wires around until it was more cooperative.
I know literally nothing about electronics – If I come along tonight with the printer, would anyone be willing to give me some advice?
If you take it apart , I’m happy to look inside
a good blast from the high pressure airline with the lid off can often fix these sort of issues…

Not sure when I’ll get to run away from work, but will try to come and say hello!
At the moment I am very interested in meeting people who are knowledgable about
a) Oyster RFID physical properties and/or
b) Lead Acid Batteries (such as the ones used in local UPS systems / solar applications) - their charging, self-healing etc. characteristics. Will anyone own up to knowing something there tonight?
@courty I finally got around to using the https://github.com/FastLED/FastLED library you suggested on your addressable LED strip which I still have on loan. Would you consider selling it or alternatively extending the loan? If you need it back I can drop it at the space this evening?
Your welcome to extend the loan but I think you should pop in and show us what you’re working on anyway

…not before you are on your way home, I am told. Here’s hoping to next time!
I will! Meanwhile, the xmas tree all lit up!
Ahhh, the standard demo in the library is great… looks awesome
