Nice sharp edges. How much post-processing did you have to do?

Just pull of a tiny bit of support and the brim that helped with keep it stuck on the bed.
Most of my prints dont need any more post processing.

These very thin walled prints around 0.4mm havnt really got any spare material to sand or file.
Theyre a prototype for injection moulding not really designed for 3d printing, certainly not FDM.

In the background is a test for a 10 hour print for a magnetic wound coil, just the inner. The outer tomorrow is 12 hours. Im getting the occasional printing job now. Just these 2 this week.

I continue to be impressed with the high quality you can coax out of these supposedly hobby-grade machines

My son and I were amazed at how poor some of the prints were at the 3d print show.
There were some really good quality stuff especialy from the sintered powder stuff but what was acceptable for fdm suprised me.

If you pay attention to detail and take the time to dial them in these printers can print really well.

Client just picked up his print job.
Very pleased.
Im getting a mention on his kickstarter.
Got to charge more as these tiny fine prints take a lot of time setting up but next to no material so the usual charging based on filament used doesnt really cover the work.
