Threading aluminum

I have a project to make a piece in the CNC then I need to tap a thread on that piece. In particular a 13/16-12 thread, and it’d be about 3/4 inch long. I haven’t used the metal tools at all (except one induction on the welder and grinders but that’s neither here nor there) so I was wondering whether we can do this at the space? And whether maybe someone can help me do it?

That is quite specific. I don’t think we have any UN taps, especially this big, I’ll have a look.

According to this you would need 23/32 tapping drill or you may CNC this hole I suppose.
Correctly sized hole is critical, then you can tap it manually or on the drill press (manually or powered, but really slow speed. it doesn’t have reverse). Use WD40 (kerosene) as cutting oil on aluminium.

I can for sure CNC the hole, yeah!
