These pedals I’ve got have worn down to a smooth lethal slippery surface when wet. Do you think it’s possible to drill and tap holes into them to take some grub screws for grip?
Do we have tapping stuff? Never gotten into metal work before…

If the pedals are aluminium which I assume they are then drilling and tapping would be easy enough, would be a tricky part to hold for drilling though
Could also be a relatively quick snap-on 3D print!
We’ve got loads of tapping stuff now - some of it is in those black metal cabinets in the metal area, some is in a very battered dark grey tin first aid box on the metal shelves
For drilling the holes, I reckon your best bet would be to use the small red metal mill with a few of these things to hold it down - if it’s aluminium then the mill will handle it no problem, possibly steel as well if you buy a sharp new drill bit
That’s a single-sided pedal, isn’t it? You could fairly easily make a little ‘cradle’ out of scrap wood to sit the pedal in while using the drilling and clamping method that Sean indicated.
not a fan of the widowmaker straps - they have a mtb cleat clip on the otherside if I want to clip in. This is my run about so need to be able to take my normal shoes!
