Table saw/track saw induction request

Hi all,

ive been planning to build this set of drawers and wanted to get inducted on the table saw or track saw so i can cut the panels. id prefer to use the table saw, if possible, however ive heard getting an induction on that is a bit of a process. ill be in the space later today to practice some welding, so if any @woodtechs are available to give me an induction on whatever is more feasible, that would be much appreciated, thanks!

(ive included some CAD screenshots below, measurements are in mm)

Hi Ibraheem,

This tool is managed via an assessment - see https://discourse.southlondonmakerspace.org/t/table-saw-induction-assessments/7090

Message the woodtechs when you feel you’re ready for an assessment.

Thanks!
Ed

hi ed, thanks for letting me know about this! ill do the quiz now. also, for future reference, is it a similar process to get inducted on the handheld router?

What are you making them out of? And how was you planning to do the dado for the drawers/shelves?

Your answers will define the best tool for the job

im making them out of mdf sheets, and i was planning on using the handheld router for the dado

Cool, track saw and MFT is probably best for this.
Also track with Festool router with the MFT will give accurate repeatable dadoes

thanks! im still fairly new to woodworking so this is very helpful, this is my first time hearing about a MTF so im going to have to do some reading on how to use that
