Table router handle system frozen

Hello @woodtechs ,

the table router handle system is frozen and won’t move the router up or down.
I found that out when giving an induction.
I cleaned the well underneath opened the table to clean the router, then wanted to take it apart to check but I think someone who knows this set up better should do this.

I can help and oversee to learn which parts to work for when it will happen next, but for the time being it’s better I won’t go further.

I took it apart and the lift is completely seized. I’ll try to soak it in WD 40 to see if it helps but in the mean time the router table is out of service.

Yes a bit more determination got it unstuck. Thanks to @lamacchiacosta and @stefanoromano’s help it is cleaned, lubed, tuned and singing again.

Out of interest what was needed? I have the same at home

The hoisting system needed a deep clean on the thread.
