Hi @woodtechs, is anyone around this afternoon who could show me the bandsaw/help cut out the sash horns on the window frame I’m making please? I think the tightest bit of the curve has a 16 mm radius so should just be ok with the narrowest saw blade. This is the existing shape which I’m hoping to replicate
Sunday Bandsaw Help
You could match that shape exactly on the CNC - an alternative to consider. It wouldn’t take long. If you want to do it that way, and not inducted, I could help you with that - I’ll be in at about 5pm.
Thanks Dan, I did wonder about the CNC - I’ve only done the mini cnc induction so help on the big CNC would be very appreciated if the bandsaw isn’t an option. I may also have a look at the scroll saw. Should be at the space from around 5pm/5:30pm too
I believe @Federico may be around at that time too,if so, I could induct you on the big CNC under his supervision and to qualify as inductor for the big CNC. Also happy to help with that. My eta is currently 5:30 (train disruptions).
Great, I’m just in the clean room and will have a go creating the template for the cut.
