Stained oak kitchen worktop - any ideas please!

Hi everyone, first time poster here - hoping to ask some advice for my newly installed oak kitchen worktops - a bottle of disinfectant left this grey mark - please do you have any suggestions for how to solve this before sanding and re-polishing? Many thanks!

I’m no expert, but oak will go black very easily, such as if you leave an iron teapot sitting on it, so I would either accept it as the first stain of many and call it ‘patina’ rather than blemish,
Or.
Sand it out. Chances are it doesn’t go very deep.

I looked up solutions for a similar problem some time ago, one suggestion was that marks can be caused by damp trapped under the surface so to try a hairdryer on it (gently).
I tried and it did seem to lessen some of the cup marks on my furniture, but most had been there a long time & didn’t improve so in the end I opted for sanding.

Thanks so much James and Maya!
