Spiral Ducting order

A few months ago I got 95% done with the woodshop extraction before getting distracted by something else. Going to order a 45 degree bend to finally finish it off, and the shipping is almost as much as the ducting piece itself.

Is there anything else similar we need for the space, to avoid paying postage again in the near future?

What I’m about to say may not be useful at all, but… Have you checked the ducting stored over the big cnc? May you need them

There was some discussion this morning about upgrading the ducting for humans, so there is less of a need to leave the door open on hot days.

I have no skills or experience in this area but I’m happy to be a pair of hands.

The big long pieces? Yeah we put those up there a month or two ago before realising we were one connector short of what we needed

The blower is already enclosed and above the door, plan is to have it sucking air from right above the CNC doorway, should create some nice negative pressure in the woodshop to keep most of the wood dust out of the rest of the space

Some ventilation in the Textiles /3D printing room would also be very welcome. There are lengths of 150mm ducting stored there which were set aside for that. Is there still a plan for Arch 1 ventilation?

We’ve got enough straight-run 150mm pipe for the textiles / 3d printing room, we’d just need some fittings and elbows etc. to get it online.

If we want to extract and bring in fresh air, it would be a good idea to put something like this in place to reduce the heat lost.

I don’t think heat loss is too much of an issue - it gets pretty warm with 3D printing. Could that be retrofitted later if heat loss proves to be a real problem over the winter?
