I vary with my opinions on them, hence the tea towel/poster is a nice idea and doesn’t mean buying something to sit in a cupboard and eventually end up in a charity shop. Let’s see how the prints end up first but feeling quietly confident!
SLMS T-shirts and Teatowels
Tea towel please!
Accepting cash or going cashless for the £12?
Would love a tea towel! Looks awesome
Thanks both! Either works for me, I’ll keep track of people through here and perhaps a sign up sheet in the space if I get round to it and keep in touch with updates when printing has started
Awesome work! I’d love to grab one of each!
Id love one of each as well!
Yes please, one each.
In 2017, as Dominic Morrow’s guest. I think Dominic was writing a book about hacker/makerspaces at the time and the drawing was going to be an illustration in it? I don’t think the book came to anything…
I’m pretty sure I’m the one with the pencil in the old wood workshop. I was working on the legs for my coffee table.
I want a tshirt!
T-shirt for me please (if there are any left)
Just to help @petermakesprints to gauge interest (It’s not official, nor binding, but simply might make it easier to track the estimates)

One of each please! (can’t vote in the poll)
With Peter’s permission, I’ve added a new (hidden-ish) product to the shop. Once he’s OK with it, we’ll get it posted here so folks can preorder
I can attest to the quality of these shirts, have a few of them and they are super soft!
What colour are you going for? I know some of the bigger sizes don’t come above a 2XL and I will definitely need a bigger one
If I’m getting in another order for t-shirts I’ll take peoples requirements beforehand! Either that or if you have any blanks you’d like printing on I can absolutely get on board with that
So good:
" Tim was careful to depict other scenes that were illustrative of hackerspace life such as the storage area door at the back of the space, the bike next to the kitchen, a full waste bin, sewing machines and stuff in the sink. "
As a more generously sized human that’s very much appreciated!
Hey all,
I visited Print Club up in Dalston yesterday to collect the A1 positive for the tea towel and t-shirt prints.
Their space is purely for screen printing and it was interesting to see their setup, they have eight printing beds and six giant drying racks
I’m hoping to come in after work tomorrow to coat some screens, and then next week I’ll test out the print on fabric/paper. Although I get the theory of thread count, I’ve not used different mesh sizes too much so this might take a bit of playing around with but we should have something solid soon!
Hope you’re all well, and will be in touch again soon.
Best,
Pete
I made a load of these racks for Thames side studios in Woolwich
From this size up to 8foot tall, if you want more made or the designs let me know.
Not only am I keen for some more, but if you’d perhaps be willing to run one of your box making/domino joint courses at some point I’d love to get involved in the making?
I’ll have a look for where would be suitable when I’m in tomorrow and get back to you but appreciate your time on this!
