hi maybe this is best meant for the makerbuddies tag, but i thought i’d have more luck here in discussion (if admins dont agree i can post there instead
I’m really keen on learning some basic woodworking skills - youtube is fine, but i feel i’d learn better if somebody was willing to show me how its done in person. I’ve already been inducted and i have veeeeery minimal experience on some machines from when i was at school
ive been doing ceramics for 5 years and have really strong knowledge of this subject. i’m confident on the pottery wheels, and i teach handbuilding skills to kids - if you are a woodworker who wants to learn ceramics but haven’t been able to get your foot in the door, you are who i’m looking for
i imagine us exchanging one hour of woodwork support for one hour of ceramic support, could be a one off thing, weekly, bi-weekly.. if anybody is interested, please do comment or send me a message
