Scissors!

I’ve sharpened all of the fabric scissors, and moved the ones which should be used for paper rather than fabric to the pot next to the sofas. (I tested them all by sharpening/attempting to sharpen properly and then using them on fabric, if they didn’t cut smoothly or look too much like normal scissors they have gone to the clean room, we could move some back and put them in a paper zone also if wanted?)

I’ve also put in the recycling the cutting wheels which don’t work, we need to stick to using brand name cutting wheels so that they actually cut things properly. In my experience they kept sticking or not cutting properly or smoothly. One of them even ended up getting stuck open so the blade was a safety risk.

If we need new fabric scissors we should get some from https://www.macculloch-wallis.co.uk/c/850/dressmakers-scissors-shears they have deals on multiples.

Thanks! I was wondering where all those came from :flushed: many have moved into the drawers in a tub.

Hi, I’d also recommend Morplan which is a retail wholesaler so may be cheaper for supplies. They also have lots of other clothing design related items.
