Resin printer area quality of life cleanup

Hi all, found some time today whilst using the x1 to do a quick cleanup in the resin area and hang both the pegboard and the extension cable.

Also, I was thinking I might I buy a 30x40cm silicone slap mat that could go where the laminated guides are right now for post processing that the buildplate and models can sit on to save on paper towels, cleanup time and sticky resiny wood surfaces - and bring a small spray bottle from home that IPA can go in which I’ve found way easier and more economic for cleaning resin coated things like the buildplate over dabbing paper towels from the bottle.

Do these two changes sound good to @3dtechs? Nothing major, just some small quality of life changes.

Hey Sam that’s for the initiative having a tidy! @davidN is working hard on some upgrades for the resin area so he’s the best person to run things past. The second silicone mat sounds good. As does the ipa spray though this needs to be really clearly labelled and have a proper home as it will go walk about.

Thanks!

For my home setup I’ve been having a lot of success using one of those plastic moulded potting trays with a silicone dog/catfood mat in it. Gives a designated space for sticky gross resin mess and is easier to move out of the way once you’re done with it!

I’ve also been using a mister spray bottle with my IPA and it’s very helpful as a clean step with pure IPA
