Request for help in Hackney Marshes

Odd request (and sorry to put it in the main category) but my girlfriend’s sister and her boyfriend have a canal boat currently in hackney marshes and whilst off to refill their water tank got an industrial sized bit of plastic caught in the propellor and are now stranded without anywhere to park, trying to cut through it with hand tools.

I don’t know what they would even need to be able to cut through it but if anyone has advice or knows of someone up that way with tools and availability to help it would be much appreciated!

Figured it anyone is gunna know what to do it’d be someone here.

I’ll ask a friend who knows someone with a boat, if they know something.

Update, all sorted, 5 hours and a hacksaw and they managed to get through it… A solid workout for the arms though!

Glad they got it sorted. If I were more local to Hackney I would have helped, unfortunately I’m further south from Makerspace.
