Repairing a PSU for a HP Z800 Workstation

Hi,

I was considering replacing a component that blew in a workstation PSU using the soldering stations. The part that has blown is TOP246YN and I was initially just going to replace that. I have now learned from the internet that for this part to blow is likely a downstream effect of failures of another part of the power supply. I have no experience in debugging circuits to identify the parts which have caused another part to blow and also how to do it safely (discharging the capacitors etc. ).

Is there anyone who would be interested in showing me how to go about this, please?

Many thanks,
Mike
