My name is Noah and I run a company called Makers Cabinet, based in Bethnal Green. We make high quality drawing and writing tools that last a lifetime or more, a strong repair and anti-planned obsolescence philosophy is in everything we do.
At our design studio we are hosting our second repair cafe on Saturday and have accidentally got 80 people signed up to attend and only a few fixers… We’ve had a few fixers cancel last minute and we are in a really sticky place because we don’t want to turn people away or worst cancel the event because we don’t have enough help available. I’m getting in touch to request you to share this message amongst your group, we’d love to have some other repairers come and my company will be happy to cover travel expenses from Camden to Bethnal Green.
