Prusa i3 Mk2 issues

Hi all,

Any prusa users, I may have found a minor bug: wonder if anyone has seen this before?

Prints appear to lose the material target temperature!
I’m running this off the SD card - bed passes selftest and everything should be calibrated ok.

I’ve got an Anet A8. Assuming you’ve tried the 20mm hollow test cube?

Also hooking up via USB allows you to do more tests. Heating up head & bed, etc

I’ll try plugging in the USB and playing around. I’m not getting any printing at all right now.

Did you slice the object with the Prusa Slic3r version or maybe prusa control slicer?

try to tag me directly in 3d printing post or @3dtechs for a faster reply sorry only spotted that now

No worries, thanks for coming back with advice - I know constant tagging of techs can be vexing.

The calibration gcode I downloaded straight from the prusa site - I’ve not been the most frequent user of my printer but I was printing with minimal issues previously. It’s possible it needs a firmware update - I’m going to hook it up to my PC at some point and see what tests I can run, maybe try printing directly from there (I had alresdy tried formatting my sd and reloading).

And I was using the slic3r software for all my prep previously.

I do regular firmware update on my mk2s and recommend you to not stay behind on an old firmware go to this page and download the latest for your mk2s

And for the slicer download that dedicated prusa edition of Slic3r

and just to be sure after firmware update go over the initial setup process
