@emuboy I see you showed some interest in this, is there any chance of you being around tomorrow? We still need a member to be present while the workshop is running.

Was all buzzing when I left. @Esther_Gladstone was making everyone fell at home.

They need an Ethernet cable, anyone know if there’s a stash in any particular place?

Also: let Andy know he can print out whatever he likes?

Everyone’s seemed to have a good time and loved the space. I tried to pick up a bit of Raspberry Pi but their starting point was already above my head! Thanks to @StudioNelle for giving the tour!

Thank Esther for stepping in and making it work today!

I saw all the responses on twitter today - pure positive. Very well done. Thanks to everyone who made this day work well.

@Courty is down to help out this coming Sunday.

Grace has asked if anyone has access to any (2 or 3) AstroPi sensor hats? They have plenty of Pi’s.

I know @RichM is planning to bring some kit the following weekend.

All our Pi’s are mk1’s and we don’t have any hats or memory cards.

Like you say @RichM has access to one through his wife.
I can see if I can rush order one or two ?

Am I correct this is Sunday 5 February 2017?

(28 posts, most written as if it was in the past.)

Cheers,
J.

Yes. Three dates in all. Two left.

Upcoming Sundays: 5th and 12th Feb

I can get them sent next day from RS on my company account.
Price is £24.99 + VAT but I do qualify for free delivery

Let me know if you want me to grab one or two @Dermot ? (Sure they would get used for other projects too)

Courty

Sounds like a nice idea. You reckon we’ll get some future value out of them?

Sam has some, but is using them in her teaching at the moment. We’re not really around this weekend to drop off and pick up.

Will definitely bring some next weekend, plus I’m trying to 3D print an Astro Pi enclosure too

Think so. They are a teaching aid + the whole design something for the space station is cool.

Need to know soon to get garenteed next business day though.

Shall I go for one at least ?

Courty

Sam uses hers a lot with year 9.

Maybe we can get members to print a few of these.

It’s a long job! Well, 4 long jobs…
