is this like a pressure cooker?
Its more like a pressurized beer barrel

I’ve used these in the past for composites work. Non-medical autoclave. I’m looking into some Jesmonite projects at the moment but was planning to go the vibration route to remove bubbles.
we tried vibration and vacuum, next was pressure as the other 2 leaves a lot of bubbles, some just underneath the surface so as you polish you expose more bubbles…
we don’t have a risk assessment for one so i’d assume we don’t have one.
I believe there is one on the floor under the mini CNC as I asked during the open evening I attended and someone said yes I think!
in fairness we have so much stuff in the space its impossible to have a tool page for it all until someone writes one up
There is one under the small cnc
It’s a vacuum pump rather than an autoclave as Dorine was after. Details here:
I think the heat of an autoclave is not required?
As far as i understood the vacuum factor is required, right?
To eliminate bubbles you can degass with vacuum or ramp up pressure to make them small. A lot of processes are already exothemic so added heat could be a problem.
