Potential bike repair project.. any advice appreciated!

Hi everyone!

I was given a nice - if slightly rusty - pink road bike by a friend (you may have seen it at the space).

This morning the front tire went flat (the valve is blown/faulty I believe) and I had to leave it locked at the makerspace.

I’m not sure how to fix this and have been meaning to get the bike checked over/serviced anyway.

Before I remove it and take it to a bike shop I was wondering if any bike enthusiasts on here would be up for taking a look at it, perhaps having a chat about what I’d need to do to make it rideable (and whether it would be worth it!).

Of course if anyone then fancies actually working on it I would be very up for paying for your time…

If anyone fancies taking a look… it’s the pink bike with the flat tire!

I just joined so haven’t been into the space yet but would be happy to help if I can. I’m not an expert on bike repair but I do most of the maintainence on my and my housemate’s bikes so have some experience and tools.

I should be in for the open evening (13th Nov) if you’re around then? If you don’t mind posting or PMing me a few pictures of the patient I might even be able to bring the right tools with me if it’s a simple fix.
