Planer Thicknesser Assessment

Is anyone around to do a planer assessment for me in the next week or so? Quite flexible on timing.

I can be in the space:
today until 6:30 (11 March)
Tomorrow until 6 (12th)
Friday anytime (13th… Spooky :black_cat:)
Sat after 12
Sunday anytime
Monday until 6
Tuesday anytime

Hi Neil - unfortunately our availability for these hasn’t been good lately, we might struggle this week.

Have you done the quiz and induction material on the tool page?

Haven’t yet no, was planning to have those done prior to assessment, though.

I’ll have a read through now and see if someone in the shop can help run a few planks through with supervision.

Having someone else run material through is fine, but please refrain from using it yourself uninducted (even under another members supervision).

The last workshop I was a member of had members lose fingers on their planer-thicknesser - we have a strong safety record in part because we are so strict about it.

I cannot do office hours but your other times work.

Friday 7pm or this weekend up to you. Saturday I can only do after 2pm.
