I’ve been working on a Pirate costume for a LARP, and some of the photos of the event have dropped.
Tricorn (yes it’s too big…) and Holster (need to find a way to stop the strap twisting) were made using leather and the laser cutter. Waistcoat and Coat made in the textiles area with a lot of cursing at buttons.
The costume needs a few adjustments before the next event…but it think it worked pretty well.

I’ve been watching Black Sails recently and I have no idea if it 's historically acurate WRT costumes, but you’d fit right in with the crew of the Walrus 
More rips and grime and blood stains needed though
