I’ve paid for membership last week and grabbed a key fob and touched it at the door today on Sep 28th at 11:54am.
What’s the next step? I seem to be lacking access to most of discourse, and I cannot access the key fob registration section.

Welcome! Someone from the @welcome team will activate your fob as soon as they see this post (edit: already done as I was writing!) and it’ll be tied to your Discourse account. Once that is done, you will be able to see the private categories which includes induction waiting lists. You will be able to add your username to those lists (read the first post for each induction for additional instructions; sometimes a video and/or quiz is required to be filled out prior to inductions). The waiting times for each induction vary as they are conducted by volunteers.
The two areas you can use straight away are the textiles area and the electronics area. You’re more than free to drop by and learn more about the space in person. Feel free to ask people what projects they’re working on and learn how the machines work ahead of time. A lot of people enjoy talking about their projects and you can get to know people. You won’t be able to use machines without an induction, but you can certainly prepare your work/designs to get a head start.
