It’s an easy replace - you relpace them just the same as a normal machine. There’s small screws holding htem in, loosen and the needle will fall out downwards, simply put another in its place and retighten the screw.
There should be replacement in the smal draw labelled needles - it needs ones labelled overlocker or stretch ones. if there’s none there’ll order some more. Actually I’ll order some anyway.
It’s actually hard to break the needles so it’s a bit worrying they are both broken. Usually one of two things - sewing over pins - but that would screw up the knife too - or pulling the fabric out from under the needles rather than keeping sewing until you have a tail of thread and the fabric is completely free of the needles. I think I’ll pop up a message to remind people.
I couldn’t find an explainer video bout what I mean about removing the fabric - so I’ve made one. Hope this loads…
OK didn’t load - lets try this… https://youtube.com/shorts/w1c9q807e3Y?feature=share
I found some 130/70 super stretch are they the right ones?
They should be good - all needles are same size etc - but overlockers are used for stretchy things usually so need rounded ends which are better for knitted fabrics
