I noticed while doing the phase 2 cleanup that ou vacuum cleaners situation is far from ideal. One really sounds on the way out and both have really terrible suction.
It turns out I have just replaced my household vacuum and I have one of these going. I originally bought it for my router so its a proper solid shop vac, it even has a socket on it and can be used for dust collection on small devices like routers and sanders. Triggering the tool triggers suction, its really quite handy and essential for routing in my opinion.
I already brought it down so I could clean the workshop areas more easily but I’m aware this should really be up to approval if the space wants it, especially since the drive for members to reclaim their tools.
Maybe this could stay in dusty to clean up wood dust on the floor and on benches ?
Its in its box with its accessories, however it needs a plug change from EU to UK (easy fix) and perhaps an adaptor for the front socket. Replacement bags are around £5 for a box.
Does the space want it ?
